Stantons - 18 months in and still going strong!
Rogue Territory Stantons - 18 months, 4 washes
Coming off of five weeks of nonstop travel, these jeans have taken more than a little beating. Little abrasions have slowly grown into holes that required some patching on the road, but no matter - it’s to be expected at this point. Crotch blowout is imminent, but it’s a small price to pay for riding bicycles and camels in the sun.
These jeans continue to be a canvas on which I leave marks from my everyday life, and these past weeks have been particularly vibrant. A hole in the right knee from exploring abandoned breweries and Allied spy stations. Stains from beer, currywurst, homemade pasta, and wine. And the fading continues, subtly shifting between shades of blue as the indigo is slowly rubbed away.
I still have eight weeks left in my study abroad program. Let’s see what happens in the meantime.
Rogue Territory Stantons - 14 months in, 3 washes
I’ve been photographing these jeans for some time now, and they’ve served me marvelously. They’ve grown to be incredibly soft to the touch, unbelievably comfortable (especially considering where they first started), and have been with me through thick and thin.
If these jeans could talk, they’d have quite a few stories to tell. Every scrape, hole, and fade is a reminder of a past year well-lived. But as I start a new (albeit short) chapter of my life at Cambridge, I think I should have a pair of jeans that reflect that.
Keep an eye out for part two of my denim obsession.
These look awesome. We love when our customers share wear pics! Thanks Andrew!!
Dark Stantons at 7 months -
I’ve been getting a lot of questions about how these Stantons break-in. I took some quick shots to show what contrast can be expected. These have been in my rotation with a few other pairs of jeans for about 7 months. I’d say I’ve worn them about 2-3 days a week. They’ve never been soaked or washed. The waistband has stretched about 1”
When you first start wearing the Dark Stantons they will be dark navy, but as they break-in the color changes. The navy becomes darker due to the black base of the fabric.
Since this is an overdyed fabric the yarn has not been fully saturated with dye so you’ll see the white from the core of the yarn popping out in the high stress areas.
When you wash this denim it will become more blue. You’ll see highs and lows in all the right areas and it will soften up. It’s an amazing denim that, just like all raw denim, gets better after each wear.

RKs are Back!
Due to the overwhelming amount of emails that came in after the close of the RK Trouser pre-order last month, we have decided to bring the RKs back. But this time the window of opportunity will only be about a week long, so don’t miss out twice!
Pre-order will be available in our online store and begins today, Friday 7/29 and ends on Sunday 8/7. Trousers will ship approximately 2-3 weeks after the close of pre-order.
