About a week ago a came across a blog post, tumblr, or tweet about these really cool Steel Enamel Cups from Best Made Company Now, I’m not an impulse shopper (I must confess that I’m not much of a shopper at all) but when I saw these there wasn’t a moment of hesitation. See, I’ve been an admirer of Best Made, as I’m sure most of you are, for awhile, but wasn’t ready to drop some Benjamin’s on a decorative aXe. So when I saw these I thought it was a perfect introductory product and an easy affordable way to support what they’re doing. Today was the day I got them in the mail and I was instantly impressed by the amount of care and attention to detail they put into the packaging.
The Seamless & Steadfast Enamel Steel Cups ‘come from a 100 year old factory in Poland: a land with a long and celebrated enamelware tradition.’ When you hold them they have a feeling of quality and history. ‘The Best Made enamelware cups are made with World War Two era machinery, the design of the cup goes back well over 100 years.’ The variations in the enamel accents are a product of being hand dipped. An important step that adds to the overall handmade feel and look of the product, which I really appreciate.
These cups are part of a very unique, thoughtfully crafted, and well designed line of products. For more info on the cups and to see what else they have in the mix go to http://www.bestmadeco.com I look forward to seeing what else is coming down the pike. For now I’ll be enjoying my morning tea out of these rad cups!
