Karl (@RogueTerritory) and I checked out the Tim Burton exhibit today at LACMA, which by the way, is SO AWESOME. Seeing as this was only the 2nd weekend after it opened, the LACMA pavillions were abuzz with tons of crowds (very diverse crowds I might add).
Gerd Arntz (1900-1988) was an influential graphic design artist who started drawing pictograms in the 1920s. Throughout his career, he designed over 4,000 different symbols and abstract illustrations for social scientist Otto Neurath’s studies on visual statistics.
